This is a link to information about the "Foldy" Stuff method for 3D Log Cabin blocks. I made one in both traditional log cabin and courthouse steps arrangement over 7 years ago so anyone interested may have to do an internet search to find it now.
The packet came with instructions and enough iron on templates to make at least 60 foundations. Blocks from 6" up to 9" can be made. Yardage requirements are given for Crib, Twin, Double, Queen, King, Lap and Wall hanging sizes.
Directions are also included to pre-cut all the strips needed. What a great timesaver that was.
Hope you enjoy making this 3D version as much as I did.
very basic "how to": http://quiltwithdonna.com/foldystuffpagea.html
free projects (that require purchase of iron on transfers for foundations): http://quiltwithdonna.com/freefoldystuffprojects.html
patterns for sale: http://quiltwithdonna.com/foldystuffpageb.html
