I am so glad someone who has compassion is the one who found it. So many people in this situation would have just stuffed it in a box somewhere and never tried to find the rightful owners. This quilt is a family treasure and it isn't lost to them. It will bring some comfort to them.

What a treasure and how sad that the family has not shown up. Possibly they lost everything and were forced to move to another state where there were relatives to help them. Sure hope this picture is shown in more areas and that the family is found.

Home could be a lot of miles from where it was found. During the tornado here in 2011, my aunts church sign was found about 80 miles away. it was recognized by someone in that area who knew the church.
I hope the owner of the quilt is found. I also had posted on FB last week this article.
