Thumbs up Schmetz Needles - new Colour Coding

I just had a newsletter from one of the online quilt shops I buy from and see that Schmetz needles will now not only be colour coded per type, but also now by size! You can see it on their website here - just scroll down a little.

This of course, begs the question - why haven't they done this before?

About time. Needles are impossible to keep organized once out of the package. I don't even try anymore.

Hallelujah it's about time. I have so many needles that I have no idea what they were before they became loose in the drawer. I'm trying harder to put them back in the original packaging because I change my needles frequently according to the job and they aren't always ready to be thrown away. If it doesn't matter i'll just grab a needle from the drawer and hope for the best!

Thanks so much for posting this. I've printed off the color charts to add to my bulletin board.

I've saved it to my techniques folder on my computer. Maybe then I'll find it when I need it. (Sometimes I have a habit of putting a file in what seems to be a good place -- never to be seen again ) Joyce in DE

YEAH!!! I keep a cheap jewlers loop close by when I need to see what needle I have, but the colors will be so much better!
