Sew Perfect Sewing Tables info

This is a bizarre question, ladies, but for those who have the Sew Perfect tables, do you feel like that steel bar on the bottom that connects the legs on either side gets in your way when you step on the pedal? I'm about to pull the trigger and I'm concerned I'm going to be annoyed that there's nowhere for my foot! Thoughts?

I don't have any problem with my foot pedal as it sits in front of the metal bar going across the bottom. Here's a picture of mine .http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/air...436410-20.aspx
