thank you for the recipe and info re: adding oil, and cornstarch is often used in gravies. (sewgarden) :)

I am for sure going to try this for I love to use starch. Thanks so much. I'd been buying the liquid starch, but is too flaky.

it's a thickening agent. Should find it where you find the flour.

if you don't care for lavender, you can use orange oil, or cedar oil!

you should boil the water, then slowly add the starch, it will dissolve it better, when cool add the essential oil
