Great tips. I have found tho, that on wood sap, rubbing alcohol works very well and then wash with soapy water. As for the soot and smoke, mixing baking soda with the cornstarch, helps with the odor, and with many of the protein stains, Oxyclean works really well. Just test a spot on something with color.
