Sudoku Quilts
#11
I am right in the middle of working on a Sudoku quilt right now. No numbers, just the colors work into a valid puzzle. I used blank address stickers on each square with the number on it to make certain that I didn't mix up the squares. I also added a panel at the top to add extra length and put 4 stars on that panel close to the puzzle to show the difficulty of the puzzle (as most puzzles are rated that way).
When it's done, I promise I'll post pics.

I love Sudoku quilts and made a package up for each of my quilt buddies for Christmas. They have had a ball solveing the puzzel and then sewing the blocks together. We share every Sat. when our group meets to sew.

Great idea. I enjoy sudoku puzzles and have graduated to the 16 square ones (9 nbrs, 7 alphabets) that are posted in the online Washington Post paper. Hmm it would be interesting to try a 16 square one. Will keep this quilt on my list.
Thanks much for the post.
