I use almost exclusively CT cotton thread and I like it. I know about the lint issues, but I'm wondering if they have tried to improve that - yesterday I was quilting a quilt with it (top and bottom) and there was way less lint than usual. A noticeably less amount....

It's very thick compared to other brands of cotton 50/3. When used in bobbin and top the seam is very thick for piecing. I have to move my needle two spaces to the left to get a unit to be the right size. With Aurifil or other thin thread it saves those two needle clicks of fabric. I guess it all equals out. Pay for thread or pay for fabric.
