FabricDepot.com is having a sale on Kona solids. 35% off the regular price of 6.99. So you pay 4.55 per yard. Over 200 colors from which to choose!

OOH, Thanks. For some reason I cannot spend $10 for backing fabric. Actually I can't bring myself to use 'pretty' fabric for the backing. I might use a small piece of the quilt top fabric to piece a bit on the back, but I keep thinking about all the wonderful things I can make with the leftover print. Or batik. Anyway that's why I use Kona for the back!!!!!!

Does anyone know the difference between

1019 Black Kona 6.99
114 Kona Premium Jet Black 8.99

Is the premium a heavier fabric??? Or is the color just a deeper black? I called the 800# but they aren't there yet :(

Hancock's of Paducah is having a 10% off everything (quilting fabrics anyway) sale thru 2/7/11, so that makes the price on their Kona solids (for 1 yard or more) $4.54 (plus everything else is also 10% off). Promotion code DM110101 thru 5:00pm CST on 2/7/11.
