Anytime you do a transaction through the US mails and it turns out to be fradulant, contact the postal service. Also, believe if they advertise and business is done thru postal service, they want to know.

People DO list machines they don't have, using pics they've lifted off the net, machines that are lemons or broken (then they tell you it was broken in shipping and try to stick you with getting some compensation from the shipper, often impossible) etc. They get your money and delay, delay, delay. Even if you are tenacious and eventually get reimbursed by paypal or whatever, they often get the $$. Not everyone fights hard enough to get a refund. Folks also buy from eBay, change their mind, smash the machine, then claim it arrived broken. All kinds of scams out there. When times are tough, ones real character comes through. Some people feel justified scamming others they perceive as being wealthier than they are. Just let's all be careful. I was very lucky to buy a machine from a lovely quilter on this board. We met in person. Long drive for both. Test drive and cash. *Maybe* could've saved a small amt on eBay, but this was truly no hassle except the drive, well worth it.
