I am now hand quilting a quilt for my bed. I chose wool because it quilt likes butter, is lightweight, is warm, doesn't wick or get clammy, and is even a good choice in warm climates. Wool fiber breathes better than cotton. I also want some loft to the quilt as I am using a large print for the center panel. Maybe there will be a flatter wool in the future for those who want less loft.
