Default Zoo Babies Wall Hanging

Had these files for a few years now..thought it would be a good project for my niece's new baby ..this is a wall picture and is about 45" x 14"...Its made up of a lot of single files and mixed into six merged files to stitch out ..the top 3 files are stitched first and the bottom 3 files are stitched over them....there are a total 850.000 stitches to complete the picture ..each file took about 6 hours ..so it took about a week to complete. so each of them would comprise like this, the right lower file has 90K stitches and 86 color changes, and a lot of patience .
The files are by Amazing Designs, don't know if they are still available ..I've had them a long time! stitched out on a Janome 550e...My method was to shift the fabric across the hoop 14"x8" and align it with the hoop grid into position.
Just have to find a picture frame kit to complete it.....Zoo

I am assuming your machine will continue to stitch while you are gone. This is beautiful!! Perfect for a baby's room.

Fabulous!

You did a great job with the layout across the fabric. I know how difficult it can be to line up designs and all those thread changes. It's like watching paint dry to stitch out those intense designs.

Enjoy those babies!

That's great! Thank you for posting: always nice to look at someone's hard work. 86 color changes, I almost want to tear my hair out just thinking of it!
