I am in a Christmas ornament swap and need a simple "quilty" ornament project that I can do quick. Any ideas or sites to go to for inspiration

A search on web will get you lots? Here are several I especially like:
cute owl ornament: http://diversionmary.blogspot.com/20...stmas-owl.html
mitten ornament: http://the-feathered-nest.blogspot.c...-tutorial.html (She also has a cute cone ornament)

Why not make two small quilt blocks out of Xmas colors and stitch them together back to back. If you do the same pattern but different colors you could stitch the ditch to quilt and catch both sides right. A nice ribbon and bow and it could be gorgeous.
