i keep telling myself i ought to be able to do at least one block per day, every day.
Man plans.
G-d laughs.

Sounds interesting. I did the 365 block challenge (one a day for a year) a few years ago. I'd usually save them up and get caught up on the weekends.
I participated in a block of the week challenge last year, (40 weeks) and didn't get that far. I'm doing that one again this year and hope to finish it up.

I started a "Stack 'n' Whack" a few years back, and thought I could finish it if I did one block every day. Then, on a Sunday, I couldn't stop. The blocks were turning out so beautifully. That I day I made 10 blocks.
Then I gave several classes on doing them and had to make a demo set for the class.
Those demo pieces are still in a box under my bed unfinished!

Some years back,(don't remember how many), a Carol Doaks "50 Fabulous Paper Pieced State Stars" got started. I was doing them, got about 1/3 of the way thru, got side-tracked, and have never gotten it done. Maybe one of these days
