I hand quilt and use a full frame. I have a piece of muslin backing that I want to use. It's been washed and pressed and ready to go, BUT, it is v stretchy. My question is, which way do I put it on the frame. I will be putting a sleeve on the quilt to be able to hang it and I just don't know if the stretch should be from side to side or top to bottom on the frame.

You will want the least amount of stretch from top to bottom.

    Hi,

You defineately want the selvage sides to hand down the sides. If you do it the other way you will have stretching problems.
