1st Great deal at a garage sale in years - Thread!!!

My DDIL called me Sat. morning about a garage sale around the corner from her house. Said the lady had tons of quilting stuff - lots of thread. Of course, I threw on clothes and drove the 18 miles to see what she had. Two yards FULL of stuff, a lot of it was Christmas decorations. Inside the garage she had two 6' tables with thread and notions. I finally decided on several spools of Essential thread from Connecting Threads. She had them priced at 25 cents ea. While I was sorting out the colors I wanted we were talking and she said, "You can have that box for $5.00". WOW, did I jump on that! I paid her right then and then look around at other things. Ended up spending $7.00. When I got home I started counting the spools of thread - there were 78 of them. I looked on line and the same thread on sale is $2.49. I finally got a GREAT GARAGE SALE DEAL!

Good for you. Garage sales are history here in Michigan until spring. I keep watching for Estate sales and Moving sales
since they don't seem to have a season.

Congrats on an excellent deal! I so miss garage sales. In the area we live, no one has garage sales. Have a great time using your threads.
