So bright and beautiful! Remember - a quilt is a quilt for a lifetime once it's finished and a house only stays clean for so long! Why bother?!!! As long as it's just a mess and not icky dirty that is! We are messy, we are not slobs and only a quilter may understand!

beautiful quilts!! 2 of my favorite patterns, great colors! As for the house ... when I take a break from sewing I make myself do one chore (unload dishwasher, run vac, fold a load of laundry, etc) it gets me moving and something gets done in the house!!

Last year I went to Kalona, IA and checked out their quilt shops and town. At one of the stores that carries the Amish and Mennonite items, I found the magnet of my dreams.
It says 'Quilting Forever, Housework Whenever'. I live by that mantra every day.

You must have been a quilter in another life. Great work. Don't you know "creative" and "messy" go together. That old saying about cracking eggs etc.
