Default 2 new sewing machines today!

I just came in from garage saling I found 2 very good buys on sewing machines! The first one was a newer model. It will be just perfect to take to guild sewing functions (sit & sew). I paid the grand total of $3.50 !!!! I got it home it needed a bit of oiling and now it works perfectly. Nice little White Sew 'n Quilt 1730. The person I bought if from thought a piece was missing but when I got it home I discovered what she thought was missing was the front table end. It was actually part of the casing. I downloaded the manual on line for future references.
The second machine is a 1947 Singer 16-66 in the sewing table and with the stool that store supplies. The stool is in perfect shape. The sewing table has a few scratches and I think I should like to restore it some. For now I have to get it out of the car. I will wait until I have a strong neighbor to help me out. I am sew excited! That makes 12 machines now.

I used to have so much fun bringing home a new to me sewing machine from yard sales. My husband liked to do the cleaning and oiling, and I’d get to the sewing. Eventually we had over 30 vintage machines! Two downsizing moves later, I’ve kept five and no longer bring any home, that's sometimes very hard to do.

Congratulations on the Singer with the cabinet and stool. I just bought a stool for my 15-91 for the machine my mom and dad gave me. (Not sure what happened with the original stool.) It's just the perfect height for me.
The Sew 'n Quilt 1730 machine sounds like fun. Can you post pictures?
