That look wonderful. Border ties in so well with the rest. Thanks for sharing.

The end result is fantastic! Don't you just love it when you work with something until you are satisfied with the results? I know I do! Great job!

The pink rick-rack border all around will look wonderful! Stick with it....I think you've got a winner there!!

I am not a fan of the rick rack border. Personally I would have used a pink patterned border with various shades of pink, then the black. When I look at the quilt, all I see is the rick rack border.

I will post another picture in the 'photos' section when it is quilted/bound. However, that will be a month or two. I plan to have each troop member sign a piece of fabric (and/or write a note to the troop leader on the fabric) using fabric paints. Then, I will piece the fabric squares together for the back.
It tuned out beautifully!!!! I was hoping you would post it with the borders on!!! Beautiful!

I like this better, too (second version of border). Very nice quilt; the leader is going to love it!

I think your simpler border is a better choice. It keeps the focus on the center blocks. Love the pink too!

I would make the "rick rack" girl scout green instead of pink.

oops, I just looked back a few more comments and saw you have completed the quilt. I'm "a day late and a dollar short". I like the finished quilt.
