    I think the gold border detracts the eye from the center where you've done beatiful work. I would go with the green border, only, and also bind in green.

    Love the gold, it really makes it pop, I would use the gold for the binding as well

    #1- How big do you want the quilt to be. Adding the gold border will make the quilt several inches bigger. That said I think that it would look nice with a smaller green border (about 1/2 the width it is now) and then the wider gold border. If using the gold border then bind in gold. IMHO

    I like just the green in the first example and would suggest binding in green also.

    However, if you want it larger, then:

    1. Do an 'insert flange' like the second example in post #9 here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...s-t203182.html

    2. Follow up with another green border.

    3. Bind w/green.

    I agree. The outside gold border draws my eye away from the center and the beautiful work in each block. I'd leave it with the green border, with a green binding. You've done beautiful work!

    I prefer it with just the green boarder but I am not to keen on gold besides what do I know I am just a newbie anyhow. Love the quilt
