    Default 5 point star

I am wanting to try a 5 point star block, but not applique. Can someone help me find something like that to finish block at 12 inches? I'm sure it will have to be paper pieced which I really haven't done but think I can, or at least I can try.

Try Missouri Quilts big star block and reduce it.

The second quilt I ever made had a PP star block. It was very easy and came out really well.

There's someone on etsy who sells a paper pieced pattern for a very pretty five pointed star. You can download the pattern or she will make you a paper copy and mail it, which is more expensive, of course. Sorry I don't remember the seller's name, but it should be easy to find on etsy.

While I was searching I found a post here on QB in tutorials, with a perfect 5 point star. Isn't this board the best! Thank you all for what you've found too.
