Enjoy reading and seeing the quilting topics. New to board but have been reading for quite awhile.

Need instructions (pictures if possible) of correct way to cut 60 degree triangles to make a twirling triangle block.
Thanks TXGrandmaof5.

Do a search for the OBW quilt. There's a tutorial for it here somewhere.

Thanks TXGrandmaof5.
Take 4 inch WOF strips of white and of print fabric. Sew both sides of the strips (make a long tube). Cut the tube into 7 inch sections - should have 6 sections. Then, cut the sections diagonally from corner to corner - making sure that the white side is facing up and you always cut from the same direction, i.e. lower right to top left (that's the only way to ensure that the print and white triangles are always in the same orientation). You should have 12 60 degree triangles from each strip set. Six strip sets will make 12 blocks. The Clear View Triangle ruler works great for this.
