Default 60 inch flannel

I have googled forever for 60 inch wide flannel to back a crib quilt. It will say 60 inches and then when I click on the site it is all 108 inches. I don't have the area to lay that out and cut it down to size and don't need that much left over. Does anybody know where I can order 60 inch wide flannel? I have made a flannel hexagon quilt with the half hex template and it is just adorable but here I sit unable to finish it.

Thanks for any help.

Can you just buy a 65 inch length of the 108? Yes, you would have almost double the amount needed but there might be enough leftover for another small quilt back or a flannel receiving blanket.

Can you use the family room tables at a church or library or even a senior center to cut your wide flannel. Push them together to get the surface you need. I sometimes baste this way and it's quite comfortable.

I just googled 60" flannel and found these right away - I'm sure there are more.

Wow, Dunster, you are good, I'm forwarding this on to my SIL who quilts for a business and is always looking for wider backings.

Happy New Year.

Why not just piece the back to your required size?

I was going to suggest flannel world. I have ordered from them several times and am very pleased with the quality of their fabrics. The weave of the fabric is a bit tighter and you get less shrinkage.

Thank you dunster but I saw all of those. Guess I should mention I want a solid and it is for a boy and need 2 yards at 60 inches wide. Thank you for our help. Had been to each of those sites yesterday. Appreciate the help.

You know now that you mention it I don't think I've ever seen it either.
