7 days since finding the Quilting Board
#11
Hi Cathy....
re the vintage sewing machine site...I haven't looked yet but I have the sewing machine that my aunt taught me to sew on when I was a child....it is in my loft and has been for about 20 years without me looking at...I reckon it is from the 50s or even earlier...if I remember rightly it has long thin bobbins and a long shuttle....have only kept it for sentimental reasons...will go up and have a look at it tomorrow maybe

I came looking for inspiration and have been amazed.
In a week I have decided on the quilt I want to make, found an amazing person, Colleen who has agreed to make it with me even though we are thousands of miles apart and have never met.
Agreed to start a pinwheel project.
Been told about fantastic online stores that I never knew about
Chatted to some really lovely people in the chat room
....all this inspired me to completly sort out my sewing room and organise my stash revealing loads of wonderful fabrics I had completly forgotten about.....
What a week.... Thank you
