Default 8 1/2 inch quilt blocks

Hi - I am looking for some 8 1/2 inch unfinished or a 8 inch finished quilt block patterns. I am making a small quilt and need to use 8 1/2 inch blocks. I would appreciate any help I can get.
    Thanks
    Neta

Why not do a log cabin pattern and stop when it reaches 8-1/2"? You can easily trim off any excess over 8-1/2".

That will work but I need more. Each block is different. Thanks!

Have you looked at www.quilterscache.com ? It has blocks listed by size.

Yes I have checked them out but they don't list 8 1/2 inch so without making a block I don't know if their 8 inch blocks are 8 inch finished or unfinished. If that makes sense.

Take any block and reduce it. If youre not good at that, use a copy machine

Barbara Brackman did a Civil War block of the week in 8 inch blocks last year. Some are easy, some are challenging, but I did all of them and I am maybe an intermediate.
