Where would I be able to find Wide fabric? I'm making a friend of mine a quilt and I'm paying for the backing and batting (cotton. I hope I can also find some to offer their long arm (locally) who doesn't cost me a fortune or doesn't mind donating their services (My mom apparently knows a guy who has a long arm).

The quilt it mix media, canvas, flannel, fleece and cotton. I'm doing it simply with 8.5 x 8.5 squares maybe smaller... She wants a queen. She gave me the fabric for it and I said sure...

    Thank You!

JoAnn's carries 108" fabrics. And I think you can buy them online too. There is a couple of people here that has shops that may have it too. :) good luck

I think that 108" backing is a more common size than 90. You might want to look for that. Many online fabric stores carry it.

Fabric.com has lots of wide backing at great prices. Also if you have a JoAnns coupon they do carry the really wide muslin - bleached and unbleached.

    My favorite eBay seller:
    http://stores.ebay.com/QUILT-UNIQUE-...=p4634.c0.m322

A hundred different 108" wide fabrics from antique looking toiles to white-on-white to batiks and tie-dyes. :)

Super service and doesn't gouge you on shipping costs. :)
