Default Iron?

Joann's has the Digital Vilocity Iron on sale and I'm thinking of ordering it. Has anyone bought this and are you happy with your purchase?

I have that iron and really love it. I think I have had it for about a year - no problems and it gets a lot of use. Both my Mom and I use it (I usually sew at her house) and all of her Sr group comes over sews/irons, plus I have a couple of groups that meet here. I have seen several other posts on this site from people who have it and love it - so far haven't heard anything negative

I buy all my irons from second hand stores or yard sales because I am so rough on them...constantly knocking off the table, it finally kills them off but most last a couple of years and I only give a couple of bucks for them so figure I'm getting my moneys worth!!!

I am on a budget and therefore use Black & Decker. I did buy a Maytag cordless years ago to iron whole quilts.

I have that iron, bought a refurbished one and love it. What's even better is that I had a minor problem with the first one I got, and the company immediately sent me another, no questions asked. That's good service!

I am not familiar with that brand. I have used an Oliso Pro iron for about 4 years now and it has been the best iron I've ever owned. They are a bit pricy, but if you take a little time t search the Internet, it can be found for half the price. As newer models come out, the older ones become less expensive.

I have had the iron for a year now and it gets lots of use. I am very happy with it, no leaking or spitting and good steam. It is expensive but woth it.

When my last cheap iron started spurting water I bought the Reliable iron. So far it's great. And it's been dropped and mishandled by many girl scouts and some moms at learn to sew classes. LOL.
