    ABC quilt

made this one with 4-patches- one square of each appliqued letter (boy i did alot of them backwards- mirror image letter kicked my butt!)
the other 3 squares of each 4-patch were fabrics to depict each letter---it was a fun challenge to find 3 different fabrics for each letter of the Name: abc preschool quilt.jpg

I just can't imagine how fast you are. I have seen 3 at least quilts you have made just lately. I saw them today. Does your machine have a speed governor on it? ha And they are all beautiful.

Awesome! I especially like that you used fabrics that go along with the alphabet letters. Some lucky child is going to have a lot of fun looking this quilt over time and again. Nice work!

You are one cool quiltmaker! Just saw your sampler, too, and both quilts are winners.

I don't know if anyone noticed the quilting- but it is all words too-
if you click on the picture then use the 'ctrl' & + keys you can 'blow' it up
the whole quilt is covered in written words to go with the letters

and the x----x-rays; xylophones & xerox!

This quilt is just awesome! What a delight it will be to some child. It's especially nifty that the letters go with the rest of the four patch. Wow!
