I think it's fabulous. It seems you can never go wrong with log cabins.

What you did is very nice--well chosen. Skip the skeletons anywhere--it is a fad that will fade, and also the boyfriend might fade also.
However, if she likes country things, there are some really cute chicken fabrics in red and black and white that would coordinate with your work and might make a nice border.

Your quit will be beautiful! Don't you just love it when first of all someone asks to you make them a quilt (they have no idea what goes into making one) and then they specify exactly what they want. I had someone bring me a bag of fabric once and ask if I could "whip something up" out of it. I did and they were happy but I had a hard time getting into it because it didn't come from my heart and I was resentful that they didn't acknowledge my time and work when I gave it to them.

Very pretty. I love the colors. My granddaughter likes those colors and I'm planning to make her a quilt. It'll match her new room. Her mom said she could paint 1 wall red. Ican't wait to see the finished quilt. Good Luck. I guess we can't please anyone it seems. Sue
