When Hancock's Fabric store went out of business, the Go was marked 75% off. I found the box on a back lower shelf. The manager said I could have it for 90% off because she was told to have the store empty by the weekend and she was very miffed to state it mildly. I donated it to the guild auction or something, it's been a long time ago.

Thanks to all of you Accuquilt EARLY ADOPTERS! If it wasnt for a friend showing me hers in person and how helpful it was i might have gone another few years missing out! I really do think its something you gotta see and if possible try out yourself in person to understand how it can make your quilting experience even better! Now i obviously cant live without one - especially an ELECTRIC one because of my hand injury.
So i guess the moral of the story is… if ya come across something revolutionary to up your quilting game a notch - let the haters hate while you show the open minded how ITS DONE! LOL!

I'm the type quilter that loves to try new notions and tools. How will I know if it is something that is useful if I don't try it? I have found some amazing notions that others seem to pass by. The last notion I bought to try was the Magic Binding Maker by Taylor Seville. I have lot of binding pre made using it. No pressing needed so I can sit and watch tv and make binding. Super easy and fast. When I found it at the quilt shop the owners said she was given it to demo before placing an order but she didn't have much interest in it. I watched her dem it and said I want one! She had two, one made from 2 1/4 and one made from 2 1/2 strips. She let me have my choice to demo at guild. I was surprised most said it was too expensive right off the bat without really understanding the value.
