    Default accuquilt go yardage question

i've had my accu go cutter for quite awhile and not really used it much. having seen so many of you comment as to how you liked yours so much i felt i should try to use it more often. my question is how much extra fabric do you allow above what a pattern calls for when you use the accuquilt? i know that quite often when a pattern calls for a yard of fabric that measurement is based on some very carefully planned cutting and i've hesitated to use the go and find myself short of fabric.

I am waiting for the answer on this. I guess you could practice on some scrap.

When I design a quilt I always use my EQ7 to figure the amount of fabric I need and always have plenty of material for my project.

Whether doing rotary cutting or GO I always get more fab than pattern calls for...just in case of the oops factor.......

I found I save fabric when using the Go. I have 1/4" waste around the die. I had fabric left from a quilt kit when I used the dies to cut.
