Default Acog in a wheel pattern

Has anyone done this? looks intimidating for me but i like a challenge. Just waiting for a ruler before i start. If anyone has done this tips?

Looks like a lot of Y seams. If you haven't done them before you might want to practice a bit. I made a quilt recently that was all Y seams and it was just about my undoing. I persevered and finished the quilt, but did not enjoy the process.

no y seams done in rows you make 2 halves
i can the local shop in cana da order the pattern by whirtigig designs chris hoover

Oh, I like that!

It looks like it is constructed the same way one block wonders are. Halves of hexis, sewn in rows. Where obw's require you to decide where to place each unit, this one has a specific layout.

Tempting, very, very tempting!
