    have any of you ladies used or bought a rule called add 1/4?
    If so is it worth it to buy one?

    I bought the add-a-quarter and add-an-eighth. It took a while for me to start using it and after I did, I wondered why I waited. I use it on foundation-pieced blocks and it has earned its keep

    I have one - I only ever used it when preparing patches for hand piecing...

    I love mine I bought an 18 inch and cut a 6 inch piece off with a hack saw so I have a 12 and 6 inch! I love it for paper piecing!!

    For me: it makes paper piecing easier. Being able to see the 1/4 seem helped me alot.

    I use it all the time when paper-piecing. Purchased the 6" one first, and then a 12" one. Lost the 12" and bought another one as I couldn't manage without it. Of course, found the first one after. LOL

    I have the 6" and 12" and use them every time I do PPing - love them for that.

    I have both the 6" and 12" for paper piecing but use the 12" more than the 6"

    I have one, but used it years ago when I was making my own templates. Haven't used it since I stared rotary cutting.
