stumped over a quilt block
I am making a tee shirt quilt and have no more shirts, can not buy one either. I am needing a quilt block that I could make that would be 7-1/2 by 13-1/2 (I will make 2 one on both sides of a special shirt square) would someone have any advise on what I could do other than a 9 patch? I could do a smaller square and add to top and bottom to get the size I need. This is a cheer leading tee shirt quilt, I would like to have a megaphone paper piece pattern, but cant find one. Any ideals would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

... or what about an appliqued megaphone?
As for quilt blocks, you could choose any block that you like and insert.
Another option is to use that extra space for relevant information.
Eg. name(s), school/team, year, etc.

Here are some applique patterns for a megaphone:

If you know someone who has an embroidery machine, there are a lot of embroidery patterns for megaphones that you can buy online.
Edit: Oops. That first link I posted is for an embroidery applique. All the ones I have found are for embroidery machines. If you can just print out a megaphone silhouette, you can enlarge it and then create your own applique from it.
Edit 2: I found this die-cut applique resource. Have no idea if it would be cost-effective for you, but might be worth it:

I think I would do applique blocks. One with a megaphone and the other with the gir'ls monogram. I just quilted a t-shirt quilt that had a monogram block that was used as the center of one row. The piecer also made this block with the t-shirt fabric from the back of the shirts she cut apart. It turned out great.

I don't know if this would interest you, but there are some cute stick figures for cheering out there. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q...ures&FORM=IGRE
I was thinking these could be fun. You could even draw and color them to add to the quilt.
