    This afternoon when mine did that the solution was to lessen the pressure on the presser foot since I already had the stitch length set at 6-8 stitches per inch (and was getting about 20).
    I also noticed that if the sandwich wasn't moving freely (too bunched up) that was a problem as well. L

    Be sure you are going slow. My walking foot has to be used with very slow sewing. However I usually skip the walking foot in favor of zigzag foot. This allows for more even and larger stitches while sewing at a more reasonable speed.
