Albhabetties.Great new tool
I bought a package of Alphabetties which as little plastic squares about an inch square with 26 letters and 10 numbers. You use them to label your fabric pieces after cutting, but I wanted to use mine on my design wall because that is where I usually label my rows before sewing, so I used elmers glue and glued a tiny piece of batting too them and now they stick to my fabric on my wall. Very cool, much better than the little stick it notes I used to use which kept falling off. They sell them at the fat quarter shop.

I have seen the Alphabetties in Fat Quarter videos. Your tip of gluing batting to them so they can be used on your design wall is great. Now you have me wanting to order some the next time I place an order with The Fat Quarter Shop. Thanks for the tip.

I have a set of the numbered straight pins that I use. I think I got them at a show less expensively...

I bought some beads with letters and numbers on them on sale at Joann's. I put the bead on a safety pin and can either pin it to the design wall or the fabric. Very inexpensive and I already had the pins.

Yah!!! GagaSmith - super idea!. I bet a tiny drop of glue and a straight pin with the bead on it might work...hmmmm with let you all know it it does...I have some of those beads in my jewelry making kit that I bought for my granddaughter to use when she came to visit last year.

I broke down and bought the Marilee's pins that have the link here by Paper Princess. I really like them, but, I don't like the container they come in. The lid isn't tight against the dividers and they like to travel to each other's sections. Other than that, they are great!
