I have never seen one before but at that price, who could say no. I prefer the Omingrid mats. They are so much thicker than the Olfa mats.

I'm sure my last cutting mat is an Alvin. I purchased a 4' x 8' as I wanted it to cover my entire table. Actually wanted a 4' x 7' but couldn't find one so made the table to fit the mat. Its been close to a year now and I'm very happy with my mat. Its reversible too and wipes up nicely when I get Elmer's Glue on it. I waited a day or two before wiping it up and had no issues with it. I have found though that the markings are not accurate but then I've also been told not to use the marking on our mats to measure with. But if I measure the quilt top say for borders using the markings on my mat, then I figure I should be able to use it for measuring the borders too as I'm using the same measuring device. Seem logical to you?

    Anyway, I like my mat.
