Does anyone have one of these? It says they are 3 times thicker than Olfa and are self-healing. I am looking for a large 36x 60 mat and saw these. I also was considering buying 3 smaller mats and duct tapiing them together on the back to make one large one. I had done that with a couple of smaller mats and it worked okay, but would be nice to have the measurment markings be from 1 to 60 rather than 3 separate 1 to 24.

I don't know anything about them, but I need a new large cutting mat.

How is the price?

I am also needing to replace my Olfa mat. Will be watching this thread for the responses. FYI, when I was at Joannes last time I was looking at the cutting mats and kept wondering about the smell in that area. Finally it dawned on me that it was the Olfa mat smell! So, I am wondering if the Alvin White mats have the same smell.

I ordered from them about five years ago and because I needed a special size, I bought the large one and they cut it in half for me at no charge. I am still using the first half and have the other in case I need it!
