I found and bought at a bookstore last night the most amazing applique book for all you that applique or have thought to try it!! Her colors are amazing and fun! (how to also)I checked online for our library and they even have it too! Yours might also! I have never seen or heard of it before...go search for 'Hand Appliqued Quilts-Whimsical Designs and Simple Techniques' by Tonye Belinda Pillips. Her colors and whimsy will shake the winter blahs right off your socks!! Skeat

He was back again today. On the carport this time. :) We said our Hellos and he scurried off.
I won't tell you about the THING I encountered last night!
But suffice to say, when I told my gardener, he said he would make sure he doesn't come around during the night.

Skeat--thank you, thank you!!!!! I just ordered it from Barnes and Noble and cannot wait for it to arrive. The best part is that I had a gift card---so it did not cost me anything at all. I am a happy camper and it is all thanks to you. :D

This is way beyond what I can do. It looks like it could be done with the crayon technigue though and I love the patterns
If you have the book can you tell me if the patterns can be done with crayons.

I'm so glad if I helped any addicted quilter add to their collection..he-he...:)Applique isn't hard..I promise! She shows in there how to do it. You could color if you wanted to the patterns are big like coloring book type. I want it to applique and am crazy about it! Maybe we could round up some of us, and do one of the wall hangings and see what we all come up with! Wouldn't that be fun!! I wished she had a freebie pattern online for us to sample. But, stuck w/this great book instead!:)Let me know if there are any takers! I'd have to order some more fabric first...not near enough brights!LOL Skeat
