Well, my life just wouldn't be as full, happy and fun without my furry friends in it! With my dog at my feet and my cats on my sewing table, I spend many happy hours with my two loves - quilting and my pets. And I agree that most of us here do have and love animals. It just seems to go hand in hand - love of quilting, love of animals! :D :D

My DH and I had two pets and both had to be put down one was 15 yrs old and the last one was 10 yrs old. The one he bought became my dog and the one I bought became his dog and she was spoiled we basically never went any where with out her, she slept in the crock of DH legs( he started letting her up on the bed).

My little BUBU is my joy. She helps me way too often, but cuddles with me every night. She is the alarm clock that I don't have. She even woke me up at 2:00 a.m. so I could watch the Royal Wedding. When I have to go out of town over night, I don't have to worry about her. She uses her cat box and I have never found any surprise bombs on the floor. Right now, she is telling me that it is her dinner time. So, I must obey the cat; I will not get anything done until her needs are met. She started off as the runt, but now is the Queen. How many people can claim the same?

Here's a link all animal lovers will like about a dog that survived a housefire for 6 hours.....by opening 3 or 4 closed doors and climbing into a bathtub where water from the fire hoses was accumulating. This happened a couple of days ago.

BTW, you might notice that the dog in my avatar looks remarkably like the dog in the video. They are the same breed.
