Well, I finally started making the stain glass wall hanging I have been procrastinating about. Patrice was right just to get started and it wouldn't be so bad. I have learn several things that should I ever do another one I believe I will do an even better job. I'll post pictures later, got to take them first, I hope to have it finished by the 12th or 13th of March, well before Easter. I don't know why I picked that particular goal deadline I just did.

Well, I didn't make the deadline I just took it to the church today 3-25. I tried I just couldn't do it the binding was a lot harder than usual I think because it was narrower. I had to be to look right. Now the picture...

The Church's Name is Father's House

I love doing stained glass projects.. what pattern are you making and what technique? Are you making it by applique and the black leading is made as you go, or are you making your own leading or the fusible stuff?

Sounds like a great project. I did a small one just picture sized with fabric I got a WM with gold lines in it and a batik look with black inbetween the shapes. I use a patern I found on freepattens.com. When I take a picture of it I will share it. Deb

I bought the pattern from Clotilde but I don't think they carry it any longer.

I'm using a pattern from clotilde.com, but they don't have it any more. The leading is fusible but you still have to go back and stitch the edges on both sides down too. I did some stitch & fusing both of the "glass" pieces depending a lot on their size. Also folks be careful & don't burn yourself with your mini iron doing the leading, like I did. It smarts!
