I hope I live to be about 120 and still have my mind and use of my hands lol! Cause that's how old I'll have to be to finish every quilt I want to make. I was given some books/ magazines today and in one of them is a pattern for a Centennial Pineapple quilt. Now I've seen pineapple patterns before but they didn't catch my eye. This one however not only caught my eye it took my breath! So I'm adding it to the ever growing list of must make quilts.

It used to be annoying to think about all the books I would never read. Loved the Henry Bemis epsiode of Twilight Zone.

Turns out the cure for anticipatory reading failure is anticipatory sewing failure.

I have a 3 subject notebook full of projects that I want to do.. and I cross off each one when I do it. So far the To Do's really are overpowering the Dones.

    You bet!
The story of my quilting life.
I have c. 15 notebooks with hundreds of patterns I've cut out, downloaded, been given ...
Am in a weeding out mode - discarding or giving away patterns I like but will never make.

Congrats on meeting that age milestone. I turned 66 back in Sept. Really seems strange when I think about it that I'm this old now. I have so many quilts and other projects to get done, seems like I need two more sets of hands and 24 more hours or more in the day just to begin getting what I want to do accomplished. lol. Belated Happy Birthday. Gerbie

What is the name of the book the pattern was in?
I just searched for the centennial pineapple pattern on line and saw your listing there for this board, also found a pineapple design in the Homes Garden Scrap lovers quilts by John Riha -Craft Idea DesignsBook. it is # 9 on the list on that page. However,I couldn't get a large photo to show up. Check this site out and see if it is like the one you have.
Show us a pic. if you can.Gerbie

It's our bid to immortality. That and that I really believe I can't die before I finish all on my lists.

    Hey, it keeps me going.
