Thank you, Mickey. I will print this off and take it with me the next time we go down. I have been to Joanns in Knoxville and also the Cherry Pit in Sevierville. One time I went to a shop in Knoxville that had fabric but was mostly a sewing machine dealer. I can't remember the name but none of these ring a bell.

It's so sad to hear about another quilt shop closing. I guess it's a sign of the time.

The Magic Cat is supposed to open tomorrow. It is going in the shop where Roosters was. I hear it is going to have a lot of bright, fabrics. Going to have a lot of juvenile prints too. Hope it stays around awhile!!

We have a 30' RV...where do we start???? haha! How I wish that I could!
Just got back from a month in Fl- ON the beach! Couple of good quilt shops nearby. They have some good sales! Another quilter & I both bring our machines down & sew when the weather is bad. She even sews outside! We are getting low on fabric sources here, too. Nothing left but a couple of quilt shops & a few WalMarts still have fabric. Have fun shopping!

Mary Jo's is amazing. I live about 45 mins from there but can't go this weekend or I'd join you. You might be interested to know that the Sew Much Fun store near Mary Jo's has a great selection of quilting fabrics with very little duplication with Mary Jo's. It's only 5 - 10 mins from there on the main road - Franklin Blvd. They have sale fabrics too...just look for the % off sticker on the end of the bolts. Here's their website http://www.sewmuchfun4you.com/
