I really like the sampler, but what is that gorgeous fabric behind the sampler? OOh! I like it too.

oh that is a complete quilt- i'll have to take a picture of that one- it's a 'turning 20' pattern quilt- and has a black velvet border on it---which was a nightmare to put on! but what my sister wanted- then she gave me back the quilt (well actually traded it for a different one) i will take a pic of it the next time i'm snapping pics

I love this one! Is this a pattern or have you designed it as you go along? There is so much to look at and yet it is not overwhelming in the least. I love the mix of sampler blocks and Sunbonnet Sue as well. Very nice!

This is VERY cute! I love samplers!

There is only one thing that catches my eye that I would either change out or reverse. The Sun Bonnet Sue in the lower right. She is "looking" away from the quilt. If it were me I would either re-do her and make her facing the left ("looking" into the quilt) or replace her with a different block.

Love making and seeing sampler quilts. Great opportunity to try something and see if I enjoy it without having to making a whole quilt out of it.

hadn't paid any attention to my little sue facing out---maybe that's a sign it's not done yet- she needs to be inside the quilt- looking at something more...hmmmm
