I would be afraid to give it to a new grandson. It is so wonderful. It needs to be kept until they can be old enough to take care of it. Hope they don't throw it in the wash machine . I hope they take care of it. It's truly an heirloom.

How could she NOT like it??? It's beautiful!!!

My suggestion for the staining is to wash it with RetroClean (http://www.retroclean.com ).

I also would hesitate to give it to a grandson unless the grandson knows how to treat such a treasure!

gorgeous quilt!! Thank you for hand quilting it - just the way her grandma probably would have. Did you try cleaning it before you quilted it?

I love the pattern and it is a very lovely quilt. Your quilting enhances the pattern perfectly.

That is a really nice quilt. I would like to see a picture of the full quilt. Cheers for the lady who owns it and preserved it for all those years. It's original character is futher preserved by your hand quilting.
