Its not alot of peices. You cut 8 strips of white and 8 strips of red sew them together and then sub cut them into 3 1/2 inch squares and then sew the rows together put on sashing and binding and then applique the ants on.

Some people are just so clever when it comes to creating applique! I would fail at embroidering stick people! I hope you have fun making it! I really, really like it!
