I did a doll quilt that kwhite has that is all 4 inch blocks. It's a Baltimore Album. Wasn't really all that hard.
There is a book, Better Homes & Gardens, 501 Quilt Blocks that has a TON of 4inch blocks in it. You CAN make them bigger if you want

I am doing a paper piecing block that is 7". I wasn't suppose to be but I didn't check the scale assuming it was the right size, well you know what happens when you assume. But I am sticking with it, and all my blocks are 7" so no big. Actually they are quite nice, not that hard to make, and since it is a practice paper piecing pattern from Carol Doak, and I love the pattern I am going to try and make a full size quilt out of those blocks. As small as they are, by the time I get done, well lets just say I won't need to practice anymore lol.
