Default Any familiar with Marti Michelle patterns?

I am going to a Retreat in January, and her pattern has been chosen that uses 3 of her ruler sets. If you have done one of her quilts using her methods. Please answer this, did you like the method? Did you make more of her patterns?

I try to avoid patterns that need specialty rulers because then you never use them again and you have all that money invested in those rulers. Maybe you have a friend that you can share her ruler?? Good Luck.

is it rulers or templates? she's popular for templates that have all the dog ears lopped off which makes everything fit together very smoothly, I bought several for a sampler (2 actually) that she designed, each set shows LOTS of blocks you can make with that set. I wish I was still working so I could buy more

You're right it is templates. I've never worked that way and have arranged to "borrow" at least one of the sets.

I went to a series of classes using her templates. Almost all of them are generic enough that you can use them for multiple block patterns. If you purchase one of her patterns, printed templates are provided in the booklet so you can make your own template.

Yes I have and I love them! Everything fits together so much nicer. And her quilts are beautiful. You will use them again and again.

The Daily Deal today at Missouri Star Quilt is the Marti Michell 2.5" Stripper Templates, if that is one you need.

I did a couple of them as Patchwork Party BOM's. I just cut out some templates using template plastic. The quilts are wonderful and went together so "accurately". I do not buy anything I can make myself. Seem as if you need to buy more than the ones needed. The patterns have full size diagrams of the templates.
Enjoy making your quilt!
