    my son is getting married next Aug in Rapid City...his fiance is from there as well ...and her family who still live there...maybe I'll bump into you in a quilt shop there(i"m from CT)

    I would love to get some fabric from the some era...I am heading to Vermont next weekend for a famiy reunion maybe I will find a yardsale with 1930 fabric.

    definitely 30's and up to WWII. I doubt into the 40's
    Are they broadcloth or feedsacks. They look like broadcloth quality. I have a small top similar to that.
    And........fabric in my basement of the period.
    Your profile doesn't say where you are from which would indicate the route you will be taking to Vermont.
    If you should be going thru Massachusetts and in or near Sturbridge, there is a shope here that has vintage textiles.
    You also will be able to find new solid fabric in the colors of your blocks that you could get for sashing and borders. It would be difficult to find enough vintage solid to complete it with sashing and borders.

    I have no idea what feedsack fabrics are...off to go research it.
