Default Any suggestions for rulers with protectors

HI
I have those suction grippers to put on my larger rulers, but can anyone recommend another type of ruler(s) with finger guards ?
I know I saw a place one time with different style slotted rulers but can't find it now.
I also saw something once called rollin ruler that was a ruler with rotary blade attached ??
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
karen

I don't remember what they were called...I want to think 'finger guard'. There was a thread here on the board not too long along discussing them with a link. Try a search and see if they might work for you.

June Tailor Shape Cut is a slotted ruler (larger is 18", smaller is 12") that allows you to cut strips by folding your fabric and slicing in the slots. They are marked for 1/2" or 1/4" (1/4" is a little tricky to get the hang of, but there are directions and a video) and the slots are 1" apart up to 12" or 18". You square up the end of the folded fabric and then follow the slots for 2" or 2 1/2" strips, etc. I used it to make piano keys of all different widths, just sliced until I ran out of fabric, made alot of them! Easy to use, no finger cuts, lots easier than aligning the ruler each and every slice!

What about the TruCut rulers and their matching ergonomic rotary cutter. The ruler has a lip on it and the rotary cutter has a guide that fits over the lip. I also used their non-slip circles on the under side of the ruler.

I use the Quilters Slide Lock. I have both sizes. It works with every ruler I use. http://quiltersslidelock.com/
